During my stay at New Caspian in Ipoh, I found the value proposition quite compelling. The room was spacious and comfortable, boasting efficient air conditioning essential in Malaysia's warm climate. Housekeeping maintained a decent level of cleanliness, and the presence of an electric kettle was convenient for a digital nomad like myself who enjoys a hot cup of green tea while working. However, the absence of free Wi-Fi in rooms was a drawback for someone dependent on a high-speed internet connection.The location of the hotel was undoubtedly a highlight, surrounded by various attractions and amenities in the new part of Ipoh. The presence of a night market added vibrancy to the area, offering glimpses of local culture. The pricing for a 3-bed room was reasonable, aligning with the budget-conscious nomad lifestyle without compromising on comfort. New Caspian strikes a nice balance between affordability and basic luxury, making it a sensible choice for travelers seeking good value in Ipoh.
